Want to make healthcare better?

Culture

Our values shape our behaviours

As a people-focused organisation, our teams are integral in how we deliver our services and our values of Trust, Passion, Care and Fresh Thinking underpin everything we do, influencing the way we interact with patients, customers, and colleagues. If you would like a fulfilling career with an organisation that helps you make a difference every day in a job you love, you’re in the right place! Whether you join in a patient-facing clinical role or a support role, everybody has the opportunity to make a difference every day and contribute towards our mission.

Our values guide our actions and behaviour, influencing the way we interact with patients, customers, and colleagues. Each value is inspired by our core objective to make healthcare better, shaping the culture of the organisation by defining who we are, what we do and what we believe in.   We aspire to recruit people who share our values and by ensuring our values are at the centre of everything we do, our dedicated and diverse people are able to work collaboratively as one highly effective team.

Care

We do the right thing for patients every time and put the patient first in everything we do. We ask patients for feedback and use this to improve our services. We systematically collect patient information to continually improve our offering.

Trust

We deliver on our promises. We are reliable and straight-talking and we do what we say we will do, when we say we will. If there is a problem, we deal with it transparently, and do all that we can to resolve it and improve things for the future.

Passion

We are passionate about helping patients with what is most important to them. We care about how patients feel and understand that each patient may have different fears and expectations. We are passionate about striving for better value healthcare

Fresh Thinking

We constantly strive for improvements in everything we do. We are relentless in looking for new and better ways of doing things through new technology and better ways of working.  We are positive agents for change in the healthcare system

A great place to work

InHealth is proud to be a great place to work, employing more than 2,500 people across the UK.  Our 2021 Staff Survey achieved fantastic engagement results of 75%.  We really value our staff and offer great opportunities for personal and professional development. We’re passionate about equality, diversity and inclusion, welcoming and encouraging applications from people across all communities and backgrounds.

Research shows that while men apply for jobs when they meet an average of 60% of the criteria, women and people from underrepresented groups tend to only apply when they check every box. InHealth champions development and progression for everyone, so if you think you have what it takes, but don’t necessarily meet every single area on the job description, please still get in touch. We’d love to have a chat and see if you could be a great fit.

‘The Deal’

The Deal’ sets out the way that our people and managers engage with each other and with InHealth. It’s about what we expect everyone to give and receive from InHealth. Through delivering on The Deal, we want to make sure that everyone receives the support, opportunities and benefits that can help in their roles. In return, we ask everyone to give their best every day.

Award winning healthcare provider!

Having worked with the NHS for more than 30 years, we have formed some incredibly strong partnerships with individual Trusts… so we were absolutely delighted to win the award for ‘Best Healthcare Provider Partnership’ at the 2020 Health Service Journal (HSJ) Awards, which recognised our long-standing relationship with Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

The HSJ Partnership Awards celebrate the most effective partnerships with the NHS and highlight benefits that working with the private and third sectors can bring to patients and NHS organisations. This award is true testament to showing how a fantastic relationship between the NHS and the independent sector really can work.

Staff survey 2022

We are delighted with our 2022 Staff Survey results, which showed an overall engagement score of 78%. This is an increase of 3% from last year, which is a great achievement, not only given the continued challenges faced in healthcare and our own personal lives, but also because we extended the survey to our bank colleagues, so there were even more of us to respond.

Highlights included:

  • 95% of our staff would recommend InHealth services
  • 93% know what is expected of them at work
  • 85% care about InHealth’s future
  • 84% say that Equality and Diversity are valued at InHealth
  • 80% of our staff say that working here makes them want to do the best work they can

Vaccinations

Please note that some of our roles require vaccinations in line with NHS England guidance, the NHS Code of Practice and other legislation related to staff providing services in healthcare settings. Where this is the case, InHealth will check your healthcare record as part of the onboarding process and will then provide access to any required vaccinations if needed, including free flu vaccinations.
