Senior Radiographer
While also carrying out MRI procedures to best practice standards of radiographic technique, has further knowledge and a deeper understanding of MRI to perform a range of skills within MRI, and their interrelated components, consistently, seamlessly, independently, and efficiently. Responsible for competency assessment of less experienced MRI Radiographers including trainees, and sharing their knowledge and clinical expertise with the rest of the team.
Experience
• Working with MRI equipment in a hospital or mobile environment
• Performing triage functions of referrals
• Health and safety policies and procedures when it comes to imaging equipment and radiology
• Working within a multi-disciplinary team
Qualifications
BSc in Diagnostic Radiography & HCPC accreditation required
Leadership & Management level 3 qualification beneficial
