Trainee MRI Radiographer
As a trainee you will work alongside an experienced radiographer to deepen your MRI knowledge and skills through on-the-job experience and structured learning delivered by our MRI Clinical Lead. You will undertake all the tasks required of an MRI Radiographer under supervision until a competency assessment has been completed and signed-off, after which you will become an autonomous practitioner.
Experience
• Have a basic understanding of MRI physics and different scanning techniques and sequences
• Be able to demonstrate an appreciation of patient care and confidentiality
• Have proven knowledge of the radiographer’s role in the care of patients, their visitors and carers, and colleagues
• Have the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
Qualifications
BSc in Radiography or equivalent and hold a valid HCPC registration
