Education Bursaries

We recognise that everyone has individual learning needs and that you may identify a specific development opportunity that isn’t promoted on the InHealth Academy.

All courses, events, conferences, studies and learning which may be identified through Personal Development Plans (PDPs) are considered through our Education Bursary Policy.

Requests under this policy can be made to undertake an accredited programme leading to the award of a recognised qualification; for continuous professional development (CPD) activities, or for unaccredited training that will help you to develop specific skills relevant to your job.

Requests for funding under this policy must always be relevant to your role with InHealth and there must be an agreed positive business impact resulting from the training.

We support applications for bursaries of up to £2,000 per rolling 12- month period per employee.

Training formats considered include

R

On InHealth premises or at home

R

Training undertaken whilst you are working, for example on the job training

R

A course run by a college, university or other external training provider

R

A conference which is expected to have clear and demonstrable learning outcomes relevant to your role

Education bursaries are available to all existing employees. You can find further details in the full policy on our intranet site (Insite). Applications can be submitted via our Employee Self-Service (ESS) portal by clicking on the menu at the top right corner and selecting ‘Requests & Surveys’.

Existing employees should contact the Talent Development team with any queries.
