Leadership & Management

At InHealth we know how crucial it is for all of our managers to have the right skills and behaviours to lead their teams effectively, ensuring that they are engaged, motivated and feel valued. To help with this we have three Leadership Development Programmes (LDPs) available:

TEAM LEADER/SUPERVISOR LEVEL 3

This is a 13 month blended learning programme consisting of workshops, online learning and personal coaching sessions.

OPERATIONS/DEPARTMENT MANAGER LEVEL 5

This is a 13 month blended learning programme consisting of workshops, online learning and personal coaching sessions.

SENIOR/STRATEGIC LEADER LEVEL 7

This is a blended learning experience made up of 7 learning sprints which are completed over a period of 16 months.

Communications are issued internally in early spring inviting nominations, but existing employees can contact the Talent Development team at any time if they’re interested in undertaking one of the programmes.

Team Leader/Supervisor Level 3

Suitable for all roles associated with first-line management including Front Line Managers, Junior Managers, Supervisors and Team Leaders.

If you have not undertaken any formal leadership development previously, and the content of the programme aligns with your personal learning objectives, then it can also be suitable for anyone at a higher level of leadership.

You will have a dedicated Skills Coach that you will meet with on a fortnightly basis, and they will help to identify any personal learning objectives, as well as conducting a general progress review.

On successful completion of the programme you will obtain a Chartered Management Institute (CMI) level 3 Certificate in Principles of Management & Leadership.

Operations/Department Manager Level 5

Suitable for individuals who manage teams and/or projects, and have responsibility for planning, delivering and achieving departmental goals and objectives.

Managers at this level are typically accountable to a more senior manager or head of department, and are responsible for the operational and/or policy delivery of the organisation’s strategy.

You will have a dedicated Skills Coach that you will meet with on a fortnightly basis, and they will help to identify any personal learning objectives, as well as conducting a general progress review.

On successful completion of the programme you will obtain a Chartered Management Institute (CMI) level 5 Certificate in Management & Leadership.

Senior/Strategic Leader Level 7

Suitable for senior leaders including Directors and Heads of Departments that have strategic responsibilities overseeing a specific business area and large teams of people.

Learners have access to knowledge modules that develop capability which inform the work-based project, and apprenticeship tutors bring learning to life by connecting knowledge module content with organisational context.

Upon successful completion of the programme, you will obtain a Chartered Management Institute (CMI) level 7 Certificate in Management & Leadership.

Learners have the option to extend their development through ‘Leading Forward’ modules resulting in MBA qualification.
